I never thought there were so many Pokemon fans in the school. The only ones I knew of were myself, Daveed and the occaisional brave soul who brought a Gameboy to school, though I can't remember which ones they are right now.
On topic-ish: what was Goldeneye like? I've played it in multiplayer, but not as a single-player.

Ooh, I've been playing a lot of the original Paper Mario on the VC lately, and I must say it's really fun. Resident Evil 4's good too. Gonna get that one eventually for wii.

what was Goldeneye like? I've played it in multiplayer, but not as a single-player. it was the birth of our standard first person shooters today. its just so amazing cuz it was the first one like it and it brings back great memories, but of course its still a great game and all as well...really well done and had a decent mission storyline thing.

I didn't like the Multiplayer last time I played it. (I got my ass kicked because my controller was endlessly drifting to the right, besides the point.) The setup was a labyrinth of grey rooms with boring weapons.
That's all I remember.

Goldeneye is classic. It really doesn't compare today though. It was mad sick for its time though. Though when I think about it, they had entire lvls that were empty with a single color scheme. Just identical rooms connected by hallways lol. Though the gameplay made up for it.

Yeah. Same here. My cousin stopped playing pkmn with me, though. Odd because he's 15 and his 23-yr old brother still plays... P.S. I didn't mean to dis Goldeneye. I just remember that I got "ganked" a lot and that all the rooms were confusingly identical. We are a bit spoiled, but hey, I like Metroid. 1986, no background and harder than most modern games.

*sinnage* I also only liked the moonraker. All the other weapons were kind of standard run-of-the-mill guns and pistols. I like special effects...

Best game of all time: I can't honestly say that I've really played enough games to give a 'best of all time', but I did really enjoy the Half-life franchise. Basically anything by Valve is exceptional.
Shooter: Team Fortress 2
Racing: Mario Kart DS, duh
Sports: I had this Olympic Challenge 1996 for Sega:Genesis. It was sick.
Multi: Never really played Melee all that much, but from what I have played I would have to say it's up there.
RPG: I've only played like... half-way through any FF, except for X-2 which my brilliant friends thought would be an awesome birthday gift. But I guess for RPG, something with Animorphs Pokemon; probably Yellow, being as that's the only 'original' I ever owned/played.
Adventure: I like what I played of Majora's Mask, but that was like... twenty minutes. The LoZ franchise was good overall, of those that I've played. But I once has this like 2-bit power-rangers handheld game from K-mart that was pretty sick. You had to dodge fireballs from juming from one side of the canyon to the other. With two buttons. Epic.

Haha I totally agree with this, even though I was the first to double post on this forum. But I haven't since then and I have repented for my sin. Tom you should repent for this crime! lol ;D
