OK, so now that most of us are at college, anyone find any good new or new to us, anime/manga series? I haven't really since I haven't had time to go to the anime club showings yet.

Tsubasa and Deathnote are the ones I've seen here at UA, and they're awesome. I noticed that bushy mentioned Tsubasa already though. *Must find*

Ya, I need to make my way to the anime store near RIT and see if anything tickles my fancy, if you'll excuse the rather creepy euphemism.

It's only creepy or half-creepy if you make it that way. XDD

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is borderline okay. >o>Ya, I need to make my way to the anime store near RIT and see if anything tickles my fancy, if you'll excuse the rather creepy euphemism. ANIME STORE?! O___O
. . . *wants~* T^T
You should buy me stuff! And I could pay you back! Or something! ToT

I wish there was an anime/manga shop near us...
UA has an anime-based living/learning community. That's where I've been been watching all this. If you want a short series with a definite creepy/fun feel, get Baccano! It's set in some alternate USA in the Depression, and basically works off of the Japanese fascination with the mob. Pretty good, I reccommend.

Hm... I'll have to look into it.
And now UA sounds mad sweet, Tom-san. xDD;
As far as anything new/recent... It all really depends on your tastes. There's tons of stuff released each year, for those with a lolita complex or for anyone with an itch to watch some gunkata. >o>

I don't think they are doing animehouse next year but it is sweet here XD... I have been watching something called "Gyagu Manga Biyori," sort of a Japanese Robot Chicken... each episode is about7 min long. Ep. 2, 3 & 4 are really good. XD la-lalalalala wheeee.....

Anyone hear of Gunslinger Girl? it's a pretty interesting anime... morally questionable government, child soldiers, other interesting elements... Yeah, no anime house, but there is still a club for anime (JAM)... I guess they messed up the course that goes with the housing program. Oh well.

Ha. Gunslinger Girl. Don't forget the Lolita fetish part. 'S a big part of it. And it's Italian! Which is pretty cool. =D
Ah. Misinformation. Kinda annoying. xD;

Re: Lolita: Gotta love Japan. Without the peversion some of them (and their American counterparts) come up with everyone would still think their friends, families and neighbors are wierd. XD Mind you GSG is still good, even if some of the protagonists are very nearly mindless... Haven't been watching any other anime, but I'm on break... *shrugs*

I'm gonna be at the Anime store this weekend for a Pokemon TCG tournament/draw thing. I'll have to check out their selection when I get pwned in the first couple rounds.
