Yea good point.. I have nothing to do now so i think i will tell ya'll how to do it.
Alright its fairly simple...
first off you need to get an SD card.. i would suggest a 2 gig one, I got one at best buy for about 10 bucks.. but that was a sale.
Mine is a SanDisk Ultra II 2 gig.. purple in color. hehe
** you do not need NINTENDO's SD card its really expensive and a regular one will work just as well**
The next thing you need to have is an SD card reader.
If you have a modern printer most of them have one. If not, you can buy an external one with a standard USB plugin for around $20 and it will read all types of Memory cards. You could also get an internal one for about $8 if you want to install it into your computer.
The next thing i did was just to play around with it for a little bit. I put some google images on the SD card (you just save the picture and then click and drag to the SD card file) and then put the SD card into my Wii. I went to the photo channel and clicked the "get images from SD card" part (the left side). I opened it and i had the pictures fine.
Ok now to add videos. the thing with videos is that you need to convert the video to the Wii's format first. So i just took a volleyball video i found on my computer and put it in this converter that I downloaded for free.
www.redkawa.com/videoconverters/wiivideo9/Its pretty easy to use but if you have any questions just ask me.
You save the converted video to a file and then click and drag it to the SD card and your done. Put the card back into your Wii and do the same process as the pictures part and it should say 1 video found.
You can now watch your videos on your wii. backwards and forwards.
Music- Music you also need a converter because they need to be in an .acc music file.
**If you have not updated to photo channel 2.1 you dont need to convert them i belive because it reads .mp3 formated music with photo channel 2.0 for some reason. Don't know why they changed it.**
save it and click and drag it to your sd card and then the sd onto your wii.
I am actually not so sure how to do this seeing as a i dont have a converter for the music yet and i havent done it.. but some ivdeos make it look like you can still have .mp3's on it somehow
I will be editing this and hopefully be able to get some pictures up to help things get explained better too.
