Alright, I will wait here, not eating any cake. I want cake , Cake sounds delicious right now. As for everyone els if you want to race online now or next week, make sure you have the right codes, or you will end up sitting their for a half an hour waiting, and not knowing why anyone els is on. Right Z!

Oh, you just hit "firends" in the wifi menu and wait. If anyone's on, they'll see a symbol at the bottom of there screen that tells them that one of their friends wants to race. So if you wait a little bit someone'll probably join if they're on. if you've gone for 5-10 minutes without anyone joining, there's probably no one on.

Mario kart Tournament would be a great idea I think maybe over February break one afternoon we could meet at a neutral site (haha) aka someones house and have a nice big tourney.. i ahve some kids from volleyball that would love to get in on it.
Another Idea could be organizing a tournament at school and use it towards our PIG community service projects and maybe donate the money to some just cause. Thoughts?

Thoughts? holy god! i love you!!! that is the best idea ever!!!!! community service that i actually would want to do!! really i think we should pursue this, even if we dont make money we can still call it community service to the school by opening it up to everyone and hosting a gigantic tourney and i got a lot of track kids that would come

if someone has to do an econ project they could coordinate it, and then everyone else could reap the benefits for pig and take the community service, or just have some fun if you already took pig

Me and Zach D. already have a project but we could discuss this with Ray, or Chris Derusha, but that might be too much work for the lazy freaks. I also am thinking that Mr. Brunson might be a total nazi on this idea, and it might not work. Though if someone could get it approved that would be awesome.

If you just asked them to use, say the cafeteria during AAP for like 1-2 days and had a teacher agree to be there watching I don't see why not. You could charge like a $5 entry fee or w/e, get someone's Mom to make cookies, and donate the money to some fund. Even if only like 3 peeps sign up it will count for the econ thing, or should. MacDoofus did a swim-a-thon (don't ask) and donate money raised to a dude ranch I think (big surprise there huh?). It counted for him.

i bet theres a fund to give poor deprived children video games somewhere. donate money to that. You may even get Pizza Works or Marcellas to donate some food. Combine that with cookies and i'd b there.
Seriously, if anyone needs a project, this is gold. It's legit, easy, and everyone has just set up a plan. I'd use it but AP Macro doesn't recquire a project like this. I get to do seniors for sale. yay.

sounds sweet. as long as you can show proof that it helps give back to the community (giving money to charity should count), then no teacher should have a problem. well, most any teacher shouldn't.

Good News!! I asked mrs. tolan today if i could organize an event to raise money and donate it to a charity... she said i could but that i must keep in mind that i can't do anything that SGO does and also Mr. Mosalls econ projects... She also stated later that she would rather me actually go out and do something just because its better to give the charity's man power because thats what they really need, not the money. I figured I could at least get 25 points out of it though and then whoever wanted to join me could as well. 25 point is 1/4th of the 100 i need so it would definatly be a start. Also I think waiting until after spirit week is over would be a good idea. o yea and i didnt tell her it was going to be a mario kart tournament either but i dont think she will care.. i just said it was going to be some kind of event and that i didnt know what yet. So what do you guys think.. should I/we go for it?
