Has anyone been looking at this? Anyone? It came out today, and I plan on getting it... at some point. Pretty much it's an online multiplayer zombie game. That video's okay, but I'm sure there's better ones. Oh, like this one. Edit: WOW, or this one.

It's really fun. The only problem is that I play FPSes by running ahead and clearing stuff out, then coming back when I get hurt. In L4D if you try that you'll get tackled by a hunter or strangled by a smoker and you have to watch yourself die unless your team runs ahead after you and saves you. Also you can melee with anything. You can melee with your guns, while reloading, or melee with your medkits or painkillers.
I think it'll be even more fun when other people I know get it, so we can beat the campaigns on harder modes (because normal is pretty hard as it is).

I got bioshock for $15 there a few months ago. I figured "it can't go lower than that, right?" ._.;
Other people I know got L4D, and we just played two campaigns. Definitely more fun, even though we only had three people (a computer got to play Bill). We failed near the end of the second one, because it was on hard, but when we set it to normal we beat it pretty easily. Even if I did kill one of my friends so the chopper would leave <.<

A tank punched me off of the top floor of a hospital! Pictured: One badass mutha. I got him back next round when I killed their entire team as a tank.

I have always wanted to try a few of those games there, especially Portal... I will look in to these!
Oh, by the way, what's with zombie-roids (A.K.A. One badass mutha) up there?

Ok so besides the normal zombies, There's 5 types of "Boss Infected". The Hunter, Is fast and silent when he's upright, but when he crouches he starts growling and charges his leap attack, which goes off with a loud scream and can pin the survivors. Once pinned, the survivor is helpless until another survivor punches or shoots the hunter off. The Smoker, Coughs really loudly at all times and emits a green smoke wherever he goes. He can shoot his tongue out really far to hang survivors, or pull them off of cliffs, or just away from the group. When a survivor is tongued, they're unable to act until saved by another survivor. When the smoker dies he lets off a bunch of smoke in the area that stops voice communication and makes it harder to see. The Boomer, Makes a bunch of really gross noises at all times, moves kinda slowly and will die in one or two shots (or five punches). If you punch it, it stumbles backwards a long way and pauses for a good three seconds before it can act again. The Boomer is able to projectile vomit a short distance onto the survivors, which attracts a horde of the normal zombies to attack the spew'd survivors. When a Boomer dies, it explodes, dealing no damage, but temporarily stunning and knocking back nearby survivors (and zombies) and covering them (the survivors only) in vomit-bile. The Tank, Comes much less frequently than any of the other special infected, but it is without a doubt the best playable one. It is the only playable infected that relies on punches (although all infected CAN punch), as its punches do a great deal of damage and send the survivors flying (sometimes off of buildings D:). It has 16 times the health of a hunter or smoker (even more on higher difficulties) and has the ability to lift up a piece of the floor and throw it at the survivors which, although it takes a few seconds, does an instant 50 or so damage from range. The Witch, Is terrifying. You don't get to play as her. She sits there crying with her creepy music. She's about as rare as a Tank, and you can sometimes avoid her completely. The Witch will attack you if you shoot her, if you shine your flashlight on her, if you touch her, if you look at her for too long, or if you're in the way of someone else she's attacking. She has 4 times the health of a Smoker or Hunter, but her attack is an instant incapacitation on any difficulty and an instant kill on expert.

But they're so much weaker, too. And I've gotten pretty much all the zombie achievements already.
