As I think I'm the only one who got this game, I'll put up my review/overview of the game.
Overall this is a good game, it takes a different spin on the idea of pokemon which is closer to the stadium versions of the game. You basically get "rental" pokemon which come in the forms of teams of six. You can mix and match the different "cards" to form your own variations, but you can't get new pokemon until later in the game unless you get a new card of six.
How the DS games fit in is that you can upload a team of six pokemon from one of the versions into the game, this team can be used online or in "free battles" that don't involve the campaign mode. You can also send mystery gifts to your DS through PBR by buying the items in game and selecting send. Examples include the rare berries, some hold items, etc. You can also unlock certain gifts which you don't have to "pay" for in game, although each pokemon game can only obtain one of each of these. As of now these are surfing/volt tackle pikachu (for beating the campaign), Magmortar (enter the correct code), and Electivire (code).
I found this game to be a good challenge because instead of just choosing which pokemon make a good team and raising them more than your opponent, you are given certain pokemon and have to make the best possible team out of those choices. All pokemon are also the same level as each other (50) so every battle is kind of like battle tower.
I would give this a 7 1/2. If you like pokemon and want a new challenge that doesn't need you to have a human opponent, this is a good game. Also if you want to be able to fight random online opponents you may want to get this. Or if you wanna see how your pokemon look in 3D. Otherwise you may not want to get this game. As you will likely just end up disappointed.
